Welcome to the So Many Cakes archive! I started this blog at the tender age of 22 in September 2010, vowing to "bake" and decorate a 6-inch cake every week for a year (emphasis on decorate). It's been nearly a decade since I started this project, and I wanted to put the archives into a new and permanent internet house for it to live comfortably in its golden years.

Reading through these old posts, I felt like I was stumbling on a younger sister's livejournal. It's cringey at times, and at other times I'm just doing the most, when I truly needn't. While this blog isn't the greatest representation of who I am today, I'm still so proud of it. I was testing and learning and trying new things and holding myself accountable. It deserves some decent digs.
