Jason grew up in Connecticut, and so did Kristin. But they didn't cross paths there. They both went to the University of Connecticut, but that's not where they found each other. They ended up working in the same building, on the same floor, at the same company in New York City, but that's not where their story started, either.

If you're into the idea of the universe trying desperately to get two specific people to date each other, then the Kristin & Jason story is a good indicator that our universe is clumsy, distracted, and above all, persistent.

For the record, sparks flew one night in Brooklyn, as our heroes drunkenly stomped around a playground, trying to one-up each other parkour-wise. Kristin sprained her ankle. Jason got a mild concussion.

The universe cried "FINALLY" and took a nap.
